Upgrade & Maintenance covers keeping a Binions host healthy over time — how versions work, how to apply updates with apt, and the everyday maintenance the platform already runs for you.
Binions is installed and updated entirely through apt packages, and the whole platform moves as one: all thirteen daemons share a single release version, so there is never a version to reconcile between services. This section explains the version scheme, walks through a safe upgrade, and shows how to roll back if you ever need to.
Good to know. The platform is currently in a pre-production alpha. Numbered, stable releases begin at 1.0; until then, treat upgrades as you would any early-access software — take a backup first.
