v0.6.0-beta is a packaging-and-tooling release — no new verbs and no behaviour change — that opens a fresh development line. It starts the 0.6.x-beta versioning series, republishes the downloadable Claude skill so its written guidance matches the sixty-four verbs it already documents, and hardens release packaging so every 0.6.x-beta installs and upgrades cleanly. Nothing in your playbooks or daemons needs to change.

0.6.x-beta. Development releases now increment as 0.6.0-beta, 0.6.1-beta, 0.6.2-beta, … — a flatter scheme than the earlier 0.5.0-beta.N. The vocabulary carries over unchanged at sixty-four verbs; this is a numbering change, not a feature reset.binions meta-package now pin their inter-dependencies to the exact built version under the new scheme, so apt install binions and apt upgrade resolve the whole set cleanly for any 0.6.x-beta release.Nothing to do. The daemons, the sixty-four-verb vocabulary and the playbook grammar are exactly as they were in 0.5.0-beta.25. If you author playbooks with the Claude skill, pick up the refreshed 0.6.0-beta bundle from your portal; if you run the platform from packages, a routine apt upgrade moves the fleet to 0.6.0-beta-1. Think of this release as the tidy foundation the next feature work builds on.
